As others CMS (Content Management System), the JoomlaTM is used to help to publish and manage the contents of a website, providing several resources from a pre-defined “model” (template).
The installation is simple and just requires a basic knowledge of programming. The major difficulty consists on the development of the website (especially in what concerns the webdesign). Maintain it is a quite simple, because the Joomla’s back office is as powerful as simple to use.
In the Training centre of Made2Web we have basic and advanced training about the use of Joomla’sTM back office and specific training about the development of templates SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to Joomla.
The unit “ Basic Training in Joomla” has 7 hours of training, costs 350€ and is to:

- Managers or employees of companies with responsibility in the management of contents in the website

- People who are considering use the Joomla 1.5 in the next project

The unit “ Advanced Training in Joomla”, has 8 hours of training, costs 400€ and is to:
- Who wants to know the best practices of JoomlaTM
- Programmers and/or Web designers who wants to improve theirs skills about the platform and with interest in developing complex JoomlaTM websites, and with this to enhance their portfolio to the customers
About contents, in this unit you will develop skills on:
- Learn to install the Joomla 1.5
- Advanced Management of articles
- Advanced Management of Joomla components
- Advanced configuration and adaption of modules and Joomla plugins to the template
- Development of skills about Joomla templates, its adaptation and alteration
- SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to Joomla 1.5
The unit “ Templates Design to Joomla”, has 8 hours of training, costs 400€ and is to:
- Programmers and/or Web designers with interest in edit, maintain or develop JoomlaTM Templates.
In this unit you will develop several skills, since basic techniques on editing templates, such as replacement of modules, even advanced techniques of your development. Thus, about content this unit is related to:
- Introduction to Joomla Templates
- Tags, Functions and Templates Conditions
- How to understand and manage advanced parameters of modules
- How to convert a pre-existent draw into Joomla
- Templates parameters
- Advanced techniques, tip and tricks

The unit “ SEO Techniques in Joomla”, has 7 hours of training, costs 350€ and is to:
- Programmers and/or Web designers who want to improve their SEO services, which are used in the websites for their customers
- Who wants a better placement on Google, Yahoo or MSN, of theirs websites developed in JoomlaTM
- Managers and employees of a company with responsibility in the management of contents, especially when the business is heavily based on new contacts that come from the search engines.
